← HomeShort version (one line)
An online fantasy RPG in the last standing city of a broken world, where three bloodlines defend the walls and none of them trust the other two.
Medium version (one paragraph)
Champions of Thaloria is a free-to-play online fantasy RPG set on the scar where two gods destroyed each other. Players choose one of three bloodlines — Paladin, Wizard or Fallen — and fight through real-time party combat, dungeons and a PvP arena. Every cosmetic reward is earned by playing, and all cosmetic bonuses are switched off inside the arena, enforced on the server. It is being built by a single developer under the name Idanthyr Studios.
Long version
Aethel-Sol, the blinding Light, and Syren-Gha, the untamed wild, annihilated one another in a war older than memory. Where their powers collided they left a petrified plateau saturated with raw, lifeless energy, and on that single scar humanity built its last standing city.
For centuries the walls held. They are beginning to fail. Beneath the Khor-Vhal caldera an ancient wound has reopened, and a dead, light-devouring force is bleeding back into the valley. Meanwhile the three bloodlines sworn to defend Thaloria have never trusted one another, and their fragile alliance is cracking from the inside.
Players fight in real-time parties where timing, positioning, cooldowns and status effects decide the outcome. There are dungeons and bosses with real loot tables, a forge where upgrades can fail and cost you the item, guilds built on shared progression, and deep talent trees. Hundreds of avatars, frames and titles can be earned — and none of them can be bought for power.
The arena is server-enforced clean. Every cosmetic bonus in the game switches off the moment a player enters PvP. This is not a policy written on a store page — it is enforced by the same server that validates every fight, every drop and every gold coin. The client is never trusted.
Everything is earned. Hundreds of avatars, frames and titles exist, and every single one is unlocked by doing something in the world. None of them can be purchased for power.
One person built all of it. The code, the systems, the server backend, the store page and this website come from a single developer.
